Religion and American Culture: A Journal of Interpretation

The Center publishes Religion and American Culture: A Journal of Interpretation twice a year. Each issue includes scholarly articles, a discussion forum on current events related to religion, and review essays. Find out about the journal’s editorial policies, see back issues, and learn how to subscribe here.

Conference Proceedings

Every two years, the Center holds a conference on religion and American culture featuring the work of nationally recognized religion scholars. Programs include both presentations and roundtable discussions. View the Proceedings from previous conferences here.

Books

Since it’s founding, the Center has focused scholarly attention on important topics with monographs and edited books. These are available for purchase from the publishers and other online book dealers. Learn more about our books here.

Significant Sessions

“Significant Sessions” publish the papers of sessions from professional meetings that deal with a significant topic or book in the field of religion in North America. Sessions dedicated to books—at the anniversary of consequential past books or panels about momentous recent ones—are especially appropriate for this. View “Significant Sessions” here, and contact us with ideas for future publications.
